There are now ways to view any payout adjustments:
- When viewing assignments
- If you have any adjustments based on the game date range you select, there will be a green label just below the various column hiding controls indicating such.
- The adjustments listing is below the assignments listing.
- You can easily distinguish the adjustments listing from the assignments listing. The adjustment listing has a green header instead of the familiar blue header of the assignments listing.
- It is the date of the game and not the adjustment date that is used to determine when the adjustment appears with the assignment list. There may be an indication of the period the adjustment will be made.
- Viewing payout details
- Whenever there was an adjustment (debit/credit) made, it will be included in the period list control.
- The adjustment will appear in the list with the period the assignments were paid out in and ' - ADJ' at the end. As in 'Jan 31 - ADJ'.
When a game has been postponed, an administrator will do one of three things with your assignment:
- Remove you from the assignment. You may receive a message from a league administrator informing you or you will receive an automated email from AssignAll.
- Freeze the assignment which prevents you from returning it. The game will still be in the list of games to accept/return but the accept/return/reset buttons will not be present.
- Freezing the assignment means you may receive payment for the assignment.
- Allow you to return the assignment which is an indicator to the league admins that you are aware of the postponement. Returning the assignment means there will be no pay.
NOTE #1: It has always been a good idea to check AssignAll throughout the day of an assignment for crew changes or postponements. With Covid, checking for postponements before leaving for an assignment is vital to prevent yourself from going to a rink when not needed.
NOTE #2: If you knew you had a game on a particular day and that game is no longer in your assignment list, you can first check the 5 Day Game Viewer page to see if the game has been postponed (in red) or there are no assignments attached and not in red which is a good indicator of something amiss. Contact your assignor or league administrator for game status.
- Any game that has been postponed will show with a red background of the particular game line in any of these pages:
- 5 Day Game Viewer
- Assignments Page
- Payouts Page
- If there is a postponed game on the page in any of the three pages previously mentioned, there will be a red label just below the various column hiding controls indicating such.
- Should the games list contain more than one page, only when the page has a postponed game, will the indicating label appear.
When more than one page of games are listed, the games list will no longer disappear when moving to another page. The intended page will now load.
Added the following game return reasons:
- Game Postponement
- Rec Hockey Assignment(s)
Update on Payout Details
- Payout details now will appear for the following leagues (payout periods):
- AP/SJ (Nov 21)
- HW assigned by Masi/Blackman (Nov 14)
- MWJHL timekeepers (Exhibition, Oct 30, and Nov 28)
NOTE: Going forward, the above leagues will have their payout info available at the time the payout is submitted for payment. There will no future payout period updates.
Ever wonder which games you were paid for once you receive your cheque or direct deposit and there's no payout details? Here's how to find that out.
- Click the 'Payout Details' menu inside the 'Officials - General' menu.
- Select the appropriate season, league and pay periods.
- click the 'Update' button.
- To export the listings to Excel, PDF, or web page, click the appropriate icon.
- This can also be done in the Assignment page at any time during the season to help you track your game fees prior to payout.
The list of games that you worked will appear with the whole crew being displayed. Showing the crew will help you determine whether or not you worked the game short an official.
Most leagues will split the missing officials fees amongst the group or in the case of a game going with one official instead of the regular two, the full fee may go to the lone official.
Check your rate schedule first and compare that to what is showing in the 'Fee' columnn to determine if the game fees were distributed per your leagues practices. Errors in payment will be paid out in the next payout. If you are not sure of your league practices, contact your assignor or league RIC/VPO for direction.
NOTE #1: for AAA officials, Assignments are done in GoalLine but paid out in AssignAll. For issues with payouts, contact
