Payment Adjustments

There are now ways to view any payout adjustments:
  • When viewing assignments
    • If you have any adjustments based on the game date range you select, there will be a green label just below the various column hiding controls indicating such.
    • The adjustments listing is below the assignments listing.
    • You can easily distinguish the adjustments listing from the assignments listing. The adjustment listing has a green header instead of the familiar blue header of the assignments listing.
    • It is the date of the game and not the adjustment date that is used to determine when the adjustment appears with the assignment list. There may be an indication of the period the adjustment will be made.

  • Viewing payout details
    • Whenever there was an adjustment (debit/credit) made, it will be included in the period list control.
    • The adjustment will appear in the list with the period the assignments were paid out in and ' - ADJ' at the end. As in 'Jan 31 - ADJ'.

Game Postponement And Assignments

When a game has been postponed, an administrator will do one of three things with your assignment:
  • Remove you from the assignment. You may receive a message from a league administrator informing you or you will receive an automated email from AssignAll.
  • Freeze the assignment which prevents you from returning it. The game will still be in the list of games to accept/return but the accept/return/reset buttons will not be present.
    • Freezing the assignment means you may receive payment for the assignment.
  • Allow you to return the assignment which is an indicator to the league admins that you are aware of the postponement. Returning the assignment means there will be no pay.
NOTE #1: It has always been a good idea to check AssignAll throughout the day of an assignment for crew changes or postponements. With Covid, checking for postponements before leaving for an assignment is vital to prevent yourself from going to a rink when not needed.

NOTE #2: If you knew you had a game on a particular day and that game is no longer in your assignment list, you can first check the 5 Day Game Viewer page to see if the game has been postponed (in red) or there are no assignments attached and not in red which is a good indicator of something amiss. Contact your assignor or league administrator for game status.

Game Postponement Indicators

  • Any game that has been postponed will show with a red background of the particular game line in any of these pages:
    • 5 Day Game Viewer
    • Assignments Page
    • Payouts Page
  • If there is a postponed game on the page in any of the three pages previously mentioned, there will be a red label just below the various column hiding controls indicating such.
  • Should the games list contain more than one page, only when the page has a postponed game, will the indicating label appear.

5 Day Game Viewer Correction

When more than one page of games are listed, the games list will no longer disappear when moving to another page. The intended page will now load.

Payout Details

Ever wonder which games you were paid for once you receive your cheque or direct deposit and there's no payout details? Here's how to find that out.
  • Click the 'Payout Details' menu inside the 'Officials - General' menu.
  • Select the appropriate season, league and pay periods.
  • click the 'Update' button.
  • To export the listings to Excel, PDF, or web page, click the appropriate icon.
    • This can also be done in the Assignment page at any time during the season to help you track your game fees prior to payout.

The list of games that you worked will appear with the whole crew being displayed. Showing the crew will help you determine whether or not you worked the game short an official.

Most leagues will split the missing officials fees amongst the group or in the case of a game going with one official instead of the regular two, the full fee may go to the lone official.

Check your rate schedule first and compare that to what is showing in the 'Fee' columnn to determine if the game fees were distributed per your leagues practices. Errors in payment will be paid out in the next payout. If you are not sure of your league practices, contact your assignor or league RIC/VPO for direction.

NOTE #1: for AAA officials, Assignments are done in GoalLine but paid out in AssignAll. For issues with payouts, contact Ross Mackeen.

Duplicated Assignment Emails - Process Button CLick

  • The previous fix has been removed. The Dec 1/21 note has also been replaced with this note.
    • The system was programmed to do so but was not working as intended.
  • Once the 'Process' button has been clicked, it should no longer be accessible, and the update should continue with a page refresh at the conclusion of the update.
  • If you feel that nothing has happened after clicking the 'Process' button, please wait a few moments before attempting a page refresh or clicking the 'Progress' button again as the processing may be occurring in the background.
  • Please email AssignAll Support if you had to refresh the page manually to see if your changes took effect or for any other issue you encounter.

Page/Menu Size Increase On Mobile Devices

  • For mobile devices, the page and menu sizes have been increased.

Jne 25/20 2:50 AM

  • The Assignments page has been updated with several changes and new features. Click here to view the changes and new features on its own page.

  • The Accept/Return assignments page has the same assignment listing format as the Assignments page for better viewing. The extra columns as described in the AssignmentPageUpdate1 page from the first bullet are not visible and have no corresponding check box control to make them visible. This could be a future update should enough people request it.
    • The descriptions of the items in the 'Accept/Return' column have been updated to show less words to describe the function of the item. This helps to help decrease the width of the column.
    • Not all items that were in the previous versions are in this updated version. This helps to reduce the height of the row of the assignment in question.

  • A 'Payout Details' page has been added.
    • To access the page, the menu sequence is 'Officials - General > Payout Details'.
    • This is ideal should you lose your payout summary for those leagues that pay by cheque or those leagues that pay by direct deposit and don't supply you with a list of the assignments that pertain to that payout.
    • As with the Assignments Listing page, you can export the payout summary. The icons won't appear until the listing appears.
    • To generate the listing, select the season, then league, then period as per the controls available and then click the 'Update' button.

    • NOTE #1: The season is currently defaulted to 2019/2020 and is the only season available in which to view your payouts online. If you require payout details for any season prior to 2019/2020, please contact your assignor who will be able to get you the payout details that you require.
NOTE #2: Any adjustments from a previous payout will not appear in the listing at this time. This may be availble on a future update.

  • Even if you have any assignall.com web pages bookmared with the .aspx extension, they will still work. You will just see the .aspx extension in the url.
