The Assignments page is now available with added features such as:
Redisgned assignment listing to better distinguish one game from another and lines to separate columns.
Pick a date range instead of having one date field and that shows all games on and after that date.
Removed the 'Copy Games Mode' button. This mode changed the date format to Excel friendly formatting once copied and pasted into Excel and the 'Conf. Date' and 'Pmt. Proc. Date' columns were made visible. These two columns are now visible on page load with the ability to hide/show them at any time.
Conf. Date - This is the date that the assigned official has been confirmed against the game sheet (if applicable).
Pmt. Proc. Date - Date the assignment was processed for payment. Actual receipt of payment can vary from five days to two weeks depending on the league. Check with your league representative on that leagues projected payment received date.
The following columns have been added and are visible on page load with the ability to hide/show them at any time:
Pmt. Period - Most leagues have a payment schedule and this column shows which period the assignment was paid in.
Pmt. Season - The season the payment was made in.
The Away and Home team columns can be hidden/shown at any time.
Three new columns have been added that pertain to Tournaments and playoffs that may have a ladder draw or series draw. These columns are hidden by default on page loading and can be viewed by clicking the available check mark boxes. They are:
Series - It would show any combination of series types such as Quarter Final, Semi Final or Final. It could show up as "SF1 G3/5" or "SF1 G2-1/5". The second one would simply mean that the away team is up 2 games to one in a best of five series. The away team being the first team listed (if visible).
ID - Most games have an ID that can be seen in a ladder draw or series draw. It just assists you in finding where the game is on the draw besides looking for a date on the draw. It could looke like B12 which would likely pertain to a ladder draw. Referring to the B-side, game #12. A series draw would be similar.
Adv - This shows where the winning and losing teams go to next in their respective draw and is usually applicable to a ladder draw. You would see "L>B10 : W>A4" which would mean losing team goes to B10 and winning team goes to A4.
Assignments can now be filtered by a combination of Rink, Season Type, Division/Category, and League.
When filtering, the assignment list will change to a maroon colour to help you know that not all of your assignments for the specified date range if not your full list. And to help you remember which of the four fields you set to filter your assignments, those controls will have a dashed maroon coloured border.
NOTE:
If just filtering by either rink and/or season, you can click the Enter key on a keyboard without having to click the 'Update' button on the page and for mobile devices, click on 'Go'. The Division/Category and League list requires the 'Update' button to be clicked as both have the ability to select more than one Div/Cat and League filter.
The 'Show Totals' button has been removed and replaced with a check box control.
Simply click the box which places a check mark in it to show the two Totals listings.
The two totals listings have been rearranged for better space saving viewing.
A 'Grand Total $' field has been added.
You can now export the listing of assignments whether filtered or unfiltered into either Excel (.xlsx), Excel CSV file, PDF, and Web by clicking on the appropriate icon that are to the left of the 'Update' button and the 'Show Totals' check box.
This replaces the old method of having to go into Excel mode and copying and pasting into Excel. Plus you have more ways of displaying the totals.
NOTE #1:
If Filtering the assignment listing and then exporting the list, the exported list will not have a maroon colour applied to it.
NOTE #2:
When hiding any of the columns as explained above, those columns will be visible in the exported list. However, all the cells in that column will be empty.
NOTE #3:
Exporting from a mobile device does not allow you to export to Excel (.xlsx) at this time. That icon shouldn't be visible. When clicked if visible, you will simply be shown an error page. You just need to hit the back arrow of your browser.
